Ooops, let a "bit" of time get by before I got back to this. Been busy with the usual summer stuff and trying to get the other house sold. Hopefully I can get this caught up again!
As I've said before, we've been to NYC quite a few times, and finding things that we haven't done yet is getting harder and harder. We stayed at a cousin's apartment on the upper East side and since it was soooooo brutally cold, we were trying to find things to do that weren't far. We ended up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and so glad that we did, we both really enjoyed it, me especially since they have some awesome Tiffany pieces there, and a great collection of American glassware.
I thought this Tiffany window was gorgeous:
And this Prairie style window is screaming at me to copy it for an idea I have for the sidelights at our house. I haven't done anything in stained glass in ages, but have a crazy idea.....
Wouldn't be me if I didn't check out glassware!
